In 2024, we are gathering for the first edition of Exploring Lycia on May 6 – 12!
We will experience a holistic journey with activities such as walkingmeditation, discussions on nature and psychology, exploring healing paths, and workshops including yoga, art therapy, and rhythm. We will also discuss the technical requirements for surviving in nature and the skills needed for long-distance walks.
We are part of nature. With each step we take, just like nature, we will feel that we are beautiful just as we are, true to ourselves. We will spend time observing the traces of history carried by Lycia for thousands of years, the stories of societies, and breathtaking landscapes, creating lasting memories in our minds.
“In the third year of Exploring Lycia, we will be with you with three different editions! As always, we will explore the natural and historical wonders of the Lycian Way, enjoy activities at Babakamp, and create brand new memories.”

The story of Move Fest began in 2015 when two adventure-loving friends explored the area now known as Babakamp in the terrain of Turkey. Little did they know that their expedition would lead them to stumble upon the breathtaking valley that would eventually become the heart and soul of Move Fest. After spending time in this plateau at an altitude of 1300 meters, now known as Babakamp, they realized that mountains attract people who love to move. The surrounding cedar forests, inspiring sunset views, and cool and fresh air make this location perfect for our event!
Year after year, Move Fest blossomed into a testament to the power of community and the beauty of movement. What began as a humble gathering of like-minded individuals has evolved into a global phenomenon, attracting participants from every corner of the globe.
As Move Fest enters its fourth year, the spirit of adventure and exploration burns brighter than ever before. The organizers are committed to preserving the essence of what makes this event truly special – a celebration of movement, nature, and the human spirit.
